Ballet Party

From R0.00

Being a ballet dancer is often the dream of young girls across the world, so it is no surprise that whether your child is a dancer or not having a ballet themed birthday party is becoming more and more popular.

Here are some Ballet activities the kids will love that can be done at home.

  • Introductory ballet lesson: Ask a friend with ballet experience to do a mini class for the little ones to enjoy.
  • Pin the Tutu on the ballerina: Print a ballet dancer image. Buy some pink tulle and bunch it at the top with some ribbon, then add some Prestik to the back. Blind  fold each child and spin them round. Allow them to pin the Tutu on the ballerina. The closest wins.
  • Ballerina Freeze: Allow the kids to dance around while the music plays. When the music stops the kids need to do a ballet pose rather than simply freeze. Anyone who brakes the pose is out. Last one remaining gets a prize.
  • Musical Tutus: Place tutus in the middle of a circle of kids, get them to dance around the tutus to music. When the music stops the kids need to put on the tutu and sit down. The kids without tutus are out. The last remaining player wins.
